Hawaiian Grown "Kunia Watermelon Cooler"

1 1⁄2 lb
thai or green jade kunia watermelon
1 pt
guava sherbert (or any flavor you like)
8 oz
ginger ale
4 oz
fresh strawberries
4 oz
fresh peach (white or yellow)
1 T
honey (keawe or clover)
whole orange (squeezed) juice only

Besides the honey, all of the other ingredients should be chilled for best results. In a food processor or blender, add everything except the ginger ale in two stages in any order, then blend until smooth. Next, pour in the ginger ale and stir into the blended mixture to preserve the fizz. If you prefer your cooler on the lighter side, add more ginger ale, or if you like it less sweet, use club soda. Enjoy!

Use scraps or thin wedges of watermelon with rind on to garnish the rim of your glass. Add mint to give a color and aromatic twist to your beverage. "Mixologists" recommend vodka, rum or even tequila blanco to this fruit cooler to make it just right for a pau hana cocktail. Even the guys aren't shame to drink this "foo-foo" drink because it just tastes too good, because its got things in it that are Hawaiian Grown! Find these ingredients, and enjoy this recipe with a bunch of "pupu kine" found at your nearest Times Supermarket! Shoots Den!
