This week on Hawaiian Grown TV, "It's on!" Executive Chef Grant Kawasaki and Hawaiian Grown Catering Director of Fusion Cuisine Norlan Horita head to Times Supermarket for a little challenge. Norlan gets free reign over the store to pick up a few ingredients to test Grant and his skills. While the protein is a fresh island fish, a few crazy ingredients are thrown in there to test Grant and his creativity.
Times Super Markets started as a dream over 75 years ago on the sugar plantations of Hawaii. Albert and Wallace Teruya, who were sons of Okinawan immigrants, dreamed of creating a successful business in the “land of opportunity” which Hawaii was to thousands of immigrants and their offspring.
